The Frisco Economic Development Corp. board of directors approved the purchase contract unanimously during its Dec. 14 meeting.
Skinny IT, located at 10570 John W. Elliott Drive, is an information technology company specializing in cellular infrastructure, enterprise resources and wireless engineering. The company purchased nearly 9 acres in Site E of the industrial park.
According to the FEDC, the company plans to build at least a 100,000-square-foot building that could house 150 employees.
Frisco Park 25is owned by the FEDC, which will sell plots of the land to companies for building office and manufacturing space. The park is being marketed toward regional and corporate headquarters with a focus on tech and light industry. The land was bought for $5.84/ psf.
